Ridzuan's illustrious career began 33 years ago in Plant Operations Division in PETRONAS Gas Berhad and throughout the journey, he has held various engineering roles in plant operations, turnaround, commissioning and start-up.

During Ridzuan’s tenure in Group Technology Solution (GTS), Project Delivery & Technology (PD&T) PETRONAS, he held three different positions which made a significant impact to the organisation. As the Head of Production and Hydrocarbon Management, he played a pivotal role in leading the Energy and Loss Management System (ELMS) and Value Improvement Program (VIP) for PETRONAS plants and facilities. His second appointment in PD&T as the Head of Group Plant Performance Management, Ridzuan was made custodian of Integrated Plant Operations Capability Systems (iPOCS), leading and developing the management system for PETRONAS to operate its plants and facilities safely and reliably in upstream and downstream operations, bringing the operational quality of PETRONAS group to world-class standards. Ridzuan’s final appointment in PD&T was as the Head of Asset Management Solutions where he was responsible for delivering technical solutions, consultancy, and studies in the area of operations, maintenance, Process Safety, commissioning, and start-up for PETRONAS group of companies.

Prior to joining PRefChem Ridzuan was the Head of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)  for Downstream Business Excellence (DBE).
