Hassan graduated with Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Of Tulsa, the United States of America in 1995.

Hassan first joined Saudi Aramco in 1995 at Ras Tanura Refinery where he held various management positions within the Operations, Maintenance and Engineering. In 2011, he moved to Saudi Aramco Power System where he spearheaded the Joint Venture Coordination Division. 

Previously, Hassan was the Vice President, Engineering and Support in Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company. He has already carried a number of significant portfolios in his career journey including Operations General Manager and Mega Project Managing Director in reputable organisations. He has led a multi-disciplined team to accomplish the construction, commissioning, startup mission and established a successful Contractual Risk Transfer (CRT) for the project mandated. 

Hassan was appointed as PRefChem's Head of Engineering effective 1 March 2021.
